The Capstone Midlands team have recently hosted their summer activity day at Green Towers Youth Centre in Hinckley. Over 100 children and foster carers arrived on the day and we were lucky to be welcomed with clear skies and sunshine! pic 12

Everyone was free to explore all of the activities available from roller blading, skate boarding, scooting, BMXing to Bouncy Castle, face painting, soft play, snooker and table tennis. All in all, a fun filled energetic day was enjoyed by all, we aren’t sure who enjoyed it more though the adults or the children.

Here are some of the lovely comments that were made: –;

“We all really enjoyed the day, something for all the kids of all ages. And even the very big kids including Social Worker, Dan – seemed to thoroughly enjoy it!”

“Great event, great venue I would highly recommend anyone who didn’t go this time to go next year as it really is a great day out”, S – Foster Carer in Leicester

“I liked the roller blading”, K (10) from Herefordshire

“A great, relaxing, fun day with people who care about kids.” M – Foster Carer in Nottingham

“At Capstone Midlands we like to encourage everyone to have fun and explore their inner child, good old back to basics family fun is always great. It’s our way of supporting families to have fun and we know how important it is to feel a sense of community when you are a foster carer”.
